Everybody has heard of Google, being the number 1 most used search engine of all time, and having 112 million searches per day. (Go to http://1cog.co.uk/search-engine-statistics.html to see more stats of search engines!) However, not many people know what Google has to offer, and with all these Easter eggs you'll be at your computer for hours on end. Here is a list of 20 completely random, funny and awesome searches you can do on Google.
Before you start searching, ensure that you have Google Instant switched off, in which you can then use the "I'm feeling lucky" button. Also remember that some of the Easter eggs only work in certain web browsers, like Google Chrome.

1. Do a Barrel Roll
First on the list, "Do a Barrel Roll" is one of my favorites and what this does is rotates the page in a 360 degree horizontal spin, in which you can then continue on your searching. This refers to planes that makes a complete rotation on its longitudinal axis, which is called a Barrel Roll. I believe that this only works in Google Chrome, Firefox and Safari. Searching "Do a Barrel Roll" or "Z or R Twice" both triggers Google to do this.
2. Atari Breakout
This one is done on the images search, and it let's you play your very own 'ping-pong' game with the image results. Simply search 'Atari Breakout' on Google Images and watch it happen! This is useful if you want to kill your boredom, or even if you want to play a traditional old-school game.
Use the mouse or the arrow keys on your keyboard to navigate the 'paddle' to destroy all of the images! Once you've completely destroyed all of them, Google will redirect you to a bunch of random searches, including cabbage rolls...

3. Google Gravity
Searching "Google Gravity" and clicking the "I'm feeling lucky" button will cause all of the Google elements to come crashing down, where you can drag-and-drop each one with its awesome physics! You can also interact with each and every one, including the Google search bar. Even the search results come crashing down once you've searched for something!
4. Tilt
Number 4 on our list is "Tilt" or "Askew". Searching either of these will slightly tilt the page on the search results. All the links and results are 100% interactive, with the slight tilt as a fun little Easter egg.
5. Do The Harlem Shake
A little while back, a video starting with 5 teenagers from Australia, suddenly went viral and millions started to do "The Harlem Shake". Well now YouTube is doing it! Simply search for "Do The Harlem Shake" on YouTube and watch the results start to dance as the music drops. This is a very fun one and is definitely worth checking out!

Google Calculator Searches

7. The answer to life, the universe and everything plus the number of horns on a unicorn
One of my favorites on the Calculator list, by searching "The answer to life, the universe and everything plus the number of horns on a unicorn" comes up as the number 43. This is because 42 is a reference to Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" and then of course the extra one is because a unicorn only has one horn, as people say.
8. A Baker's Dozen
Searching "A Baker's Dozen" comes up with the number 13 on the calculator. A Baker's dozen is 13, or can be 14 in more rarer cases, is said because it's widely believed that it comes from the practice of medieval English bakers giving an extra loaf when selling a dozen in order to avoid being penalized for selling short weight.
9. Once in a Blue Moon
Next, by searching "Once in a Blue Moon" the Google Calculator will show the result of "once in a blue moon = 1.16699016 × 10-8 hertz". Once in a blue moon means something that happens very rarely. You can read more on this by visiting 'http://www.phrases.org.uk/meanings/once-in-a-blue-moon.html'.
