How To Enable God Mode In Windows Vista & 7
A little time ago, thousands of Windows 7 users were buzzed about the 'God Mode' trick that is integrated with Windows' OS. Of course there is a reason behind it and I will explain below, but here's how you can do it yourself. It can be a very useful application to have...
Please Note - I believe you can only perform this on Windows Vista & 7. If you are running XP you can try this out but I can't guarantee it will work.

What is 'God Mode'?
'God Mode' is an utility application manually created by the user, that includes a long list of customization settings found in the Control Panel. Of course you can just go to the Control Panel to access these tools, but having them all in one big group really is a lot easier.
What's the reason behind this trick?
A lot of people were confused as to why this is actually possible, and if Microsoft actually decided to hide a fun little Easter Egg. However in reality you can simply rename the 'God Mode' in the code below to whatever you want and the executable file will be renamed to the corresponding name. What is important is the code after that text, which you will see below.
This can be found in the registry as 'All Tasks' - What you are really doing is creating a shortcut that triggers that window to pop up and naming it 'God Mode'.
How Is This Done?
Step 1) The first thing you want to do is create a folder on your Desktop or in any directory. You can do this by simply right-clicking, hovering over 'New' and selecting 'Folder'.
Step 2) Now you want to copy the code written below, right-click on your New Folder and select rename and paste the code in. Like so..
The code;
God Mode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
Once you've done this, you will notice that the icon has changed and has been renamed to 'God Mode' - Once you open it, there will be a window displaying the list of tools. This varies from Colour Management to Desktop Gadgets - which can be extremely useful.
PLEASE NOTE: Windows Vista 64-bit users have claimed that this file can be a pain to delete. To do so you have to restart your computer, boot in safe mode and delete the file using Command Prompt.
So that's it! I hope you find this as useful as I did, remember to share this with your friends and stay tuned!
