How To Decrease Font Size / Zoom Out Automatically On Specific Webpages In Google Chrome
Google Chrome is my new favorite web browser due to it's simplicity and clean design. However having turned from Firefox to Chrome it lacks customization and settings in the UI which was obviously a downside as I love to customize browsers to my liking.
Now I like to have as much clean space on the screen as possible - Which means websites with large-sized font styles annoys me and I like to scale them down, which I did in Firefox. However being new to Chrome I didn't know what plug-in to use so I started to research. Then I found a useful small-sized plug-in that just happened to solve the problem.
Please Note: As stated above this plug-in was installed in Chrome - If you are using Firefox or IE you won't be able to download this exact plug-in due to compatibility and being on Chrome's official web store.

Firstly lets take a look at a before and after picture of the webpage Google. You will see the logo has been scaled down along with all of the text present on that page.

So as you can see we have a lot more free space and the webpage looks generally cleaner. Please note that I have a 'Stylish' custom theme - If you would like to find out more about customizing your webpages click the button below. (But be sure to read the rest of this tutorial first!)
How is this done?
As I said above this can be done with a simple add-on which you can install in Chrome. It is extremely easy to use and can be very useful. Click the button below or click here to visit the installation webpage.
Once you've reached this page, simply click 'Add to Chrome' and the installation will start. You will then see a little magnifying glass icon (Zoom icon) which you can click and change the zoom percentage. Depending on what webpage you are on, it will automatically zoom in to the percentage you set every time you visit that same webpage.
Pretty cool right? This can be useful for YouTube viewing to increase video size, or maybe you want to see text more clear in which you can increase the zoom rate.
However you use this plug-in I hope you find it as useful as I did, and thanks for reading.
This add-on is 100% safe and harmless, and it just a nice little tool you can use in your Chrome browser. Please share this tutorial with your friends, and as always stay tuned.
